What is pedicure and how can I do a pedicure by myself?

A pedicure is a treatment meant to relax, beautify and improve the condition of the feet. It is a very simple treatment involving the cleansing, massage, nail care and heel care of the feet, Pedicure can be done easily at home.

To do so, soak your feet in warm water to which a few drops of a disinfectant in the water too. Scrub the toe nails with an old tooth brush. Treat the hard skin of the heel with a pumice stone to dislodge all dead skin. Wipe the feet dry, especially between the toes.

wool and dip it in cuticle remover. Gently press the cuticles back. The cuticle should never be cut unless the edges are ragged. Cut the toe nails straight across and smoothen the edges with a filer. Donít try to cut the nails too close on the sides. Next wipe the nails clean and dry them with a clean piece of cotton wool.

Your feet are now ready for the nail varnish. Put some cotton wool pads between the toes to avoid smudging the nail polish and then apply the desired shade carefully on your toe nails.

Are there any exercises for the feet to take away the tiredness and give them flexibility?

There are several types of exercises to give flexibility to the feet. Spread with your legs crossed and rotate the feet six times towards each other and another six times, away from each other. Put a pencil on the floor and try to pick it up with your toes.Sit comfortably on a chair and spread out the toes as far as possible. This exercise tones up the muscles of the feet.

Manicure And Pedicure

A beautiful face without good looking hands or feet, reminds one of the peacock which is so beautiful but has ugly feet. Without the soft hands to flash your diamond rings and he smooth feet to display the expensive sandals, you would feel rather self conscious. It is quite to achieve soft and smooth hands and feet, if one were to make a little effort.

My hands and feet perspire a lot during the summer. As a result, I feel uncomfortable when I have to hold something in my hand. What could I do to get rid of this problem?

You could rub an ice cube on your palms three times a day. Place some cologne soaked tissue paper on the palms for a few minutes and then dust with a talcum powder. You could use cologne sticks, which are available in the market. Cologne has a very instant refreshing effect. Wear cotton socks instead of synthetic ones to keep your feet from sweating. You could also try wearing sandals instead of shoes.

I want to have soft and silky hands. My hands are rough and callused. How can I have the desired softness in my hands?

For silky soft hands, rub in moisturizing cream and wear cotton gloves overnight. The heat will ensure maximum absorption. You must also wear gloves while gardening and washing so that your hands are protected from the harmful effects.
